Quasar PG 1634+706 shines at 14.5mag, but lies 9 billion light years away. It has an estimated absolute magnitude of -29.7. In comparison, the entire Andromeda Galaxy has an absolute magnitude of -21.1 and the Milky Way has an absolute magnitude of -20.5.
